Chase Kohne for Congress

Meet Chase Kohne

Chase Kohne decided to run for Congress for the same reason he became a veterinarian and enlisted in the Army—a deep lifelong desire to serve others and help them thrive.

Chase was born in a small farming town and raised with the rural values of hard work and integrity. His rural upbringing inspired him to become a large animal veterinarian. He owns his own veterinary practice in Castle Rock and he cares for horses, cows, and other animals on farms and ranches throughout the Fourth Congressional District.

Chase joined the Army to defend the American values of freedom, equality, and justice for all. He earned the Bronze Star for his Civil Affairs work in Afghanistan, where he helped rural Afghans resist the Taliban and grow food crops instead of opium. As a veterinarian, he also helped Afghan villagers care for the sheep and goats they depend on.

Chase continues to serve our nation as a Major in the Army Reserve with the 440th Civil Affairs Battalion based at Fort Carson. His wife Amberlie is a registered nurse and a Captain in the Army Reserve. He is the proud parent of two daughters who inspire him every day to make Colorado a better place to live, learn, work, and visit.
